Pierre’s deep passion for people development and Leadership led him to pursue a career in learning and Leadership that spanned over 15 years during which he played pivotal roles in multiple organizations.

He began his career in the hotel industry, honing his hospitality and customer service skills before venturing into the aviation field. Over 17 years in aviation, he played pivotal roles, including designing and managing training programs at the prestigious Emirates Aviation College. Transitioning to Majid Al Futtaim (MAF), Pierre held various positions, progressing from L&D Manager to Senior Manager Learning Lab and eventually assuming the role of Director Learning Centre of Excellence.

Pierre’s expertise lies in managing learning solutions, demonstrated through the design and facilitation of workshops and programs for audiences ranging from entry-level to senior leaders. A career highlight was transforming MAF’s learning culture from a traditional system to an innovative, blended approach, where creativity, technology and gamification became the pillars. In his role as Senior Manager Learning Lab, Pierre founded the function, overseeing recruitment, coaching, and team management while driving company-wide learning solutions. As Director Learning Centre of Excellence, he crafted the framework for a group-wide learning strategy and operating model, conducting a comprehensive reassessment of the learning landscape and providing data-driven recommendations. Notably, he spearheaded the inaugural MAF-wide learning week across all operating companies and regions, showcasing his commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Elevating his status as a thought leader, Pierre has served as an independent facilitator for renowned organizations, including Richemont, Dubai Duty Free, Emirates Airlines, and others. In this capacity, he meticulously designed and facilitated workshops and learning programs, leaving an indelible mark on talent development.

Pierre is a Certified Human Resources Professional with a Level 5 CIPD in L&D, underscoring his commitment to excellence in the field. Additionally, his credentials include certifications as a Hogan Assessor, LEGO SERIOUS PLAY® facilitator and a certified Emotional Intelligence assessor with Six Seconds, the largest Emotional Intelligence Network.
